Nobody builds a business
on their own.
The vendor who tells you which market is worth your Saturday is worth more than any listing page. The organizer who remembers your name calls you first when a booth opens up. That is the part of this business software usually ignores.
Vendors are not competitors
A market with ten good makers does better than a market with three. The person selling candles next to you brings customers who might buy your ceramics. Treating other vendors as rivals makes everyone poorer.
Organizers are running a business too
Most markets are run by one person, often alongside another job. When a vendor pays on time and shows up with their paperwork done, that is a real kindness. It works the other way too.
Reputation should travel with you
If you have shown up reliably for three seasons, a new organizer should be able to see that. Your history should not start over every time you apply somewhere new.
Small things, honestly described.
We would rather tell you what is actually here than describe a community feature set we have not built yet.
Follow the markets you like
Follow an organizer and hear when they post something new, rather than finding out after applications closed.
Message directly
Ask a question before you apply. Message the organizer after you are accepted. It is all in one thread, not scattered across three apps.
A real vendor directory
Browse who else sells what. Find the people you want to set up next to, and let organizers find you.
More is coming. If there is something that would make your season easier, tell us — a fair amount of what BoothHub does exists because someone asked for it.
