General
What is BoothHub?
BoothHub is a platform that connects independent vendors with hosts — including market organizers, boutique shops, and permanent retail spaces. Vendors can browse and apply to opportunities, while hosts can post listings and manage applicants all in one place.
Is BoothHub free to use?
Yes! BoothHub has a free tier for both vendors and hosts. Free vendors can apply to up to 3 opportunities per month. Free hosts can post 1 active listing. Pro plans unlock unlimited access and additional features.
What types of opportunities are on BoothHub?
BoothHub supports three types: Events (one-time or recurring markets and fairs), Consignment (revenue-share arrangements with shops), and Permanent spots (long-term retail placements).
For Vendors
How does the match score work?
The match score is calculated based on how well your vendor profile aligns with a host's opportunity — including category overlap, location proximity, and profile completeness. A higher score means a stronger fit. Match scores are a Pro feature.
How do I apply to an opportunity?
Browse opportunities, click on one that interests you, and hit "Apply now." Your profile information is shared with the host for review. You'll receive an email when your application status changes.
What happens after I apply?
The host will review your application and either accept, decline, or add you to their waitlist. You'll receive an email notification for each status change. If accepted, you'll see a confirmation on your dashboard.
Can I message a host before applying?
Yes! On any opportunity page, you'll see a "Message host" button if you're logged in. You can ask questions before deciding to apply.
What is the application limit for free users?
Free vendors can submit up to 3 applications per month. Your counter resets at the start of each calendar month. Upgrade to Vendor Pro for unlimited applications.
For Hosts
How do I post an opportunity?
From your host dashboard, click "+ Post opportunity" and follow the 4-step form. You'll enter basic details, logistics, vendor criteria, and review before publishing.
Can I accept multiple vendors?
Yes — you set the number of available spots when creating your listing. You can accept vendors up to that number, and add others to a waitlist.
What is the waitlist feature?
If you have more qualified applicants than spots, you can add vendors to a waitlist. If an accepted vendor drops out, you can promote the next person on the waitlist with one click.
Can I send updates to my vendors?
Yes! From your host dashboard, click "Post update" on any opportunity. You can send general updates, reschedule notices, or cancellation notices — all vendors who applied will receive an email.
How many listings can I have on the free plan?
Free hosts can have 1 active listing at a time. Upgrade to Host Pro for unlimited active listings plus features like bulk actions, analytics, CSV export, and waitlist management.
Billing & Subscriptions
What plans does BoothHub offer?
We offer Vendor Pro ($12/month), Host Pro ($29/month), and a Bundle plan ($35/month) for users who are both vendors and hosts. All plans include a free tier to start.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes, you can cancel anytime. Your Pro access continues until the end of your current billing period. You won't be charged again after cancellation.
Is my payment information secure?
Yes. All payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor. BoothHub never stores your card details.
Do you offer refunds?
Subscription refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Please contact support@boothhub.events within 48 hours of a charge if you believe you were billed in error.
Safety & Support
Is BoothHub responsible for events listed on the platform?
No. BoothHub is a connection service. We are not responsible for the organization, operation, or outcome of any event, market, or opportunity listed on the platform. All arrangements are between vendors and hosts directly.
What if a host cancels an event?
Hosts can send cancellation notices through the platform and all applied vendors will be notified by email. Any refunds for booth fees paid directly to the host are between the vendor and host — BoothHub is not a party to those transactions.
